INVEST YORK ROAD UPDATES - April 2025

On a monthly basis, we post a high-level summary of work that has happened with Invest York Road (IYR) over the course of the previous month so community members can stay informed about the progress being made.

Here are updates for the month of April:

• One of our longest tenured funders, the Abell Foundation, awarded an operating grant to IYR for fiscal year 2025. Abell has been an exceptional partner in this work and a great collaborator. We are grateful for their ongoing support.
  
• Our community engagement team continued to show up at events in and around York Road, including at the York Road Colorwave Fest.
  
• Efforts to finalize the acquisition of IYR's first property are ongoing. Sign up for IYR's email list to get all the latest news on that front.
