INVEST YORK ROAD UPDATES - March 2025

On a monthly basis, we post a high-level summary of work that has happened with Invest York Road (IYR) over the course of the previous month so community members can stay informed about the progress being made.

Here are updates for the month of March:

• We continued our work to finalize the purchase of our first property, at 5723 York Road. See our newsletter post on the subject here.
  
• As we move that process forward, we are also in negotiations with a prospective tenant for the space, which we will be announcing soon.
  
• IYR has also been planning its community investment campaign, that will allow community members to purchase shares in IYR's real estate portfolio. Stay tuned for details on that coming soon.
  
• Additionally, our team has been hard at work writing grants, building out internal systems, and marshaling the resources to prepare for the property redevelopment project, investment campaign, and all of the other work that lies ahead this year.
